Very strange results in the contest today. Only 28 ports up today vs 35 yesterday but yet the Dow was up 48 points and the NAZ up 12 points today. The contest results pretty much go along with my watch list which had 20 out of 25 down today and some were down big. This has been going on for quite sometime now and it is like nothing I remember in the past and I have been in the market a long time. I'm guessing that the Plunge Protection Team was very busy propping up the indexes today to keep everyone from panic due to the terrorist plot. I think that this PPT has been doing a lot of buying lately as their charter is to prevent another 1929 or Oct 1987 type of crash.
