Got to agree with you Justin...

I wish billboards every where would just self destruct. The largest media company in the world, Clear Channel Communications is headquartered in San Antonio and is responsible for the majority of billboards in the U.S. I've never been to England but, others in my family have and I've seen literally thousands of slides and photos and from what I've seen, England is very nice. All roadside advertising everywhere should be abolished. No matter how hard they try to make them nice, they still take away from the countryside, whether here in Texas or other states.

You're honest man, Justin Case...
<ggg>love the handle<ggg>

and you're a kinder man than I am a woman. The kids would have kept the cat. I know how attached one can get to a pet. Our family only had one dog... a miniature dachshund... Pretzel... The only time I've ever seen my dad cry was the day the dog died.

Billboards: They are banned on the NJ Parkway. Once you get south of the Newark area, it is quite pretty. The southern end of the turnpike is pretty billboard free if I remember correctly. My stretch of 80 has none... hills and trees and the Delaware Water Gap in the distance. Most people have no idea how beautiful is here... that is if you like lush woods, streams, lakes, and low mountains. Matter of fact, it is still so heavily wooded around here that most of the development is hidden from the main roads even the more crowded counties like Morris.

I'm the queen of back roads. Much nicer drive and often just as quick as the roads with the heavy traffic.

Have a good one. Cripe I just looked at the time. Running late as usual.
