Maybe the WMIH price is lower, because the warrants are converted to shares as we speak?

But the SIC code changing is interesting.

Also the fact a lot of MBS/ABS/RMBS trusts seem to have the same 6199 code.

Maybe WMIH will merge with KKR Financial Holdings, Thackeray III Bridge or with the MBS Trusts?

That's correct...and, (just going on memory), it was changed last year?...year before? You should know this. It was discussed as a topic on Boardpost. Azcowboy made a huge deal out of WMIH still having a bank charter SIC Code. I believe it was Sleepless that left a phone message with WMIH inquiring if the SIC code was correct or in error. A few days later the SIC Code was changed to '6199 financial services'. Just saying...it didn't just happen recently, which you seem to be alluding to.

Well, as to whether the 8-k is nothing interesting, I beg to differ.....

- WMIH's SIC code was 'bank charter' for a long time, now its SIC CODE is '6199 financial services'.

- click on other 6199 SIC code business and you see lots of ABS, RMBS, MBS, and other trusts including liquidating trusts, as I listed from that page.

- I also find KKR Financial Holdings, that KKR took private and dark a couple years ago, having the same SIC code 6199 interesting...considering their involvement in WMIH.

- IF WMIH were to inherit the non-liquid ABS that JPM (as prior bridge bank/servicer) no longer performs maintenance on, as of September 28, 2016, I find it quite coincidental now.

Also, Azcowboy's post shows that the SIC code was changed from 'SIC: 6035 - SAVINGS INSTITUTION, FEDERALLY CHARTERED' to 'SIC: 6199 - FINANCE SERVICES' in May 2015. Just saying...
