#11678 RE: GangstaRIB #11674

My DD has learned that a lot empty boxes will get ticked this week.

An accredited lab that does not have a box ticked can still take a clients batch testing request for all required tests

The fact that a lab is ALREADY accredited speaks more about their professional ability to deliver consistent quality testing than not having a box or two ticked -

An accredited lab is in business as of Saturday and can easily outsource any tests that it is currently not ticked for.

Here is a typical example of what happens at a Lab that is ACCREDITED

The ORELAP or OLCC person arrives at the lab or dispensary business and says..."OK you're gtg but i need you to swap the lock out on that door to make it more secure... or that clean room needs an upgrade on the air filter...or... you need this type of container" a lot of the "unticked boxes" are small easily fixable things that require second or third visits to confirm.

- the amount of places to visit and fixes to confirm came close to overwhelming both the OHA and the OLCC as most everyone read in the story originating with Noelle Crombies' story at The Oregonian last week and picked up by Rolling Stone and High Times and a ton of media nationwide .

Even with all the boxes ticked an accredited lab can just as easily outsource certain tests if it finds itself overwhelmed with business during this crazy busy harvest season in Oregon.

In fact a smart management team might well have planned ahead and secured relationships to ensure that they have a secure outsource in the event of a record amount of business flowing in the door due to the harvest....
