Just following along I think MaxD had or said they had an original agreement with VSL, (Vedanti Systems Limited) that depended on VSL having an agreement with Vedanti -- another company, that took the initial assignment of the subject invention. Vedanti Systems Licensing appears to be yet another company.
If Nash has defrauded MaxD (and I'm not saying that), I don't see how this helps MaxD in its claim against Google etc. Putting other considerations aside, control over the initial IP seems crucial.
