Well when a flow translations to turbulent it's exhibits an extremely high pressure spike. Tao essentially claimed that his device can retard this added frictional force even though the Reynolds number is slightly tipped over to the turbulent regime. However the stated flow rate would put the condensate flow on the KMI run at very high Reynolds number making the possibility of it in a borderline turbulent/laminar regime virtually impossible. So unless the company decides to tell its investors the truth and provide real comparisons...you cannot believe these claims.
