Do you want 10,000 shares or 37,500 (assuming you buy @ $0.80 a warrant) using the same amount of money? The warrant is like an call option at a strike price of $3.85 good until 11/2020. Or you can trade like a stock.
There are LOTS of warrants that trade freely. It is not unusual at all. I own KTOVW plus several other publicly traded warrants, and have owned many others in the past. All of them were bought separately on the open market and not split out of a "unit" consisting of common + warrants.
The KTOVW warrants, with a long time to run until expiry, offer significantly more leverage (either way) than the common shares.
