Well, that response is better than no response but not much better. It is still pretty ambiguous. He mentions the "determination" process - I assume that means the Determination of Applicability which is usually the first step in the ADEQ Aquifer Protection Permit. It requires a non-refundable $2K application fee, and it will show up on the ADEQ database as soon as it is filed. Nothing has shown up yet, so installation in the 3Q as past PRs have claimed seems very unlikely. The usual forward-looking stuff.

It appears to me that no permitting process has begun yet, which means that operation of a Redbird to treat minewaters is not going to happen anytime soon. And why treat minewaters if there is no permit for the tailings processing - which KJ admits is a process that needs permitting? Why use minewater to begin with - obtaining water through more routine methods (a well) is not that difficult.
