STOCK POST-MERGER THAT OPENED 1400% OR BETTER? Here ya go, FuNkYdrummer, now you can go bang your funky drum somewhere else. I don't have to go far back in history. The stock is QRUS. Here's their closing PPS from Stockwatch just before the merger was completed and the symbol became DFXN:

QRUS Closed at .25 on 8/1/06

What's DFXN been trading at since the merger? LOL Check this out my little funky drummer! LOL

It wasn't available, due to the ticker change, for everyone to trade until Wednesday. It went from .25 close (QRUS) on August 1, 2006 to a close of 11.00 (DFXN) on August 3, 2006. NOPE, not 1400%. This baby was 4300%. I got in at .041 so it was 26700% for me. LOL That's only using the closing PPS and not the trades during the day. LOL

You wanted an example! There's you one that happened this week! You won't have to look back too far to check it out. LOL

Go beat ya funky drum now! LMAO

I decided this morning since I've basically been LURKING here and making useless comments, I would do my share of work on this thing so am offering some insight into reverse merger and pps resetting:

More explanation on the resetting of share price following reverse merger:

Establishing The Initial Stock Price - Once a reverse merger is completed, a broker/dealer must decide to make a public market in the stock. The market makers, in conjunction with the company, determine the initial price for the stock. Perceived value, the "sex appeal," track record and potential growth of the company usually have more to do with initial pricing than earnings multiples and current book values. Competent investor relations and supportive market makers as well as management’s ability to relate the company’s potential to investors are of key importance.Ultimately, the public market acceptance of the company will determine the market price for the stock.
