#269729 RE: biopharm #269727

I would say we must wait for the study to be completed, not yet.
This study is ongoing, but not recruiting participants.

biopharm, you are NOT CP, to whom I directed the question. Your comment about waiting because the trial status is not recruiting but ongoing is a canard and irrelevant as trials that are halted for many years often still have the not recruiting but ongoing status.

The point you and CP are unable or unwilling to grasp is that PPHM made the statement at the time the trial failed. They either had number to base that statement on, or they were trying to put up some spin that had no basis in reality. If the former is correct, then their silence is baffling or even counter to their claims. If the latter is true, then their silence is understandable.

The answer is biotechs don't reveal all the numbers and that is common sense across the board. For example... BMS just announced that Opdivo failed and also didn't publish full study results. Now we have a silver lining with Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, because they told us the Bavituximab arm performed as expected.... vs no silver lining with BMS Opdivo which actually just failed completely.

Are you joking? PHHM has given ZERO data despite initially making noise about the Sunrise really showing Bavi worked except for anomalies in the control arm. Biotechs, well honest and reputable ones, don't make comments suggesting their failed trials were really successes except for some analomalies but then not say what the data was. As far as Opdivo, failure was just announced a few days ago. Sunrise failed 6 months ago. BMS didn't make any positive spin without providing data. They just accepted the failure.
