Gold has been in a nasty bear market in South Africa all that time that US gold bugs have been giddy here.

because of the strength of the rand. there isn't anything I can add to all of the posts that have been made.

zeev??? look at one year chart of nem vs qqq....nem has now edged ahead, slightly...hardly a bear market!!! Yes, you indicated SA miners in your post, and theyve not done well, cetainly of late, BUT they ve been flat more or less, year over year, hardly a bear either..just a fact. (using gfi, hmy as examples)
