I think that you ask some fair questions as they seem to be important issues to you. Some of those are important to me others not as much so some of them I haven't followed his position on.
Allow me to do a little research as I do not want to misrepresent and ideas he has or things that he has said.
Also, for me, I don't really link the Libertarian party to just want to legalize drugs. I, myself, am not really in favor of that particular idea(though, I am also not vehemently opposed to it).
However, I do believe strongly in their belief that the government should not be able to regulate your life and interfere with your pursuit of your civil liberties.
