Yes, blood thinners are dangerous drugs. Poison... Literally... Most common of them, coumadin/warfarin is nothing more than rat poison. I've been taking it for 20+ years. They do have some injections to reduce INR levels and stop bleeding - used before surgery procedures, for example. But if you just stop taking medication for 2-3 days the situation improves significantly... although, with some possible dangerous side effects.
