Having a BOD with no biotech experience offers little guidance on how to pursue commercialization of a key product. Navigating the risk/reward channel is the BOD function. They opted to "go it alone" while Steve King was telling the investment community partnerships will be coming to fruition.

no they have thousands of people on staff...

all the more reason to have qualified people on the bod for a struggling small cap biotech with significant challenges...

a BOD offers strategic planning.... where is the industry going... who are the players... what is the technology landscape look like.... what are the capital market issues for small cap biotech...

that's why you have 6 to 9 person boards that speak to the areas they are involved with and offer guidance...

do some research .... look at 5 to 10 companies with market caps similar to pphm in biotech and look at their BODs... look at the experience.... look at $250 mil $500 mil mkt cap biotechs because that's where we should be min w/ avid...
