Hey, you ol' cotton picker! Tractors today are plush. Like Hummers...in the early days of the Humm-Vee back in Desert Storm, they were stripped down much like an old Army Jeep. Now, they are like a luxury vehicle, with all the modern day amenities. Tractors today almost make you want to get into farming. LOL

Justin, re my "ideal investment situation"...

Stems from not having a whole lot of money to put into the market coupled with intense boredom when it comes to things financial. The simpler the better in my book. There's far more interesting topics out there for me to use as fodder for my thought cells. <ggg>

That dinner was easy Justin... and doesn't take a lot of time... I despise food prep. Back to the simpler the better principle.

Cotton picking: I'm giggling a little here. I envisioned you walking through a field with big burlap sack slung over your shoulder picking the bolls by hand. Guess they don't do it that way anymore. LOL

I spent the four summers before each college year working in a factory on the line at Leeming Paquin (spelling) in Parsippany [Ben Gay, Hi Karate (spelling), Black Belt, Desitin, Visine...] by day and at night, as a cashier at the now buried under an office building Morris Plains Drive-In... second oldest drive-in country. I no longer wear perfume. If you ever smell that garbage in bulk it will offend you for the rest of your life... plus which we used to use it to clean the ink off the belts. Ink was from the code stamped on the bottom of the bottles.

Made good money at the factory... $1.89/hour... beat the minimum wage I made at the drive-in... $1.40/hour. Banked the factory check and spent the drive-in one. I was wealthy. ;-)

Ah... the good old days.
