Many here emails the lawyer and got no response - why would he respond to some and not the others?!
One of the communications posted on Twitter suggests that the person who wrote to Hofmeister had initially been "rude". Perhaps it wasn't the only one of its kind, and Hofmeister decided to stop replying.
I only know that I received a clear and unambiguous response from him.
