Besides making a tidy profit I think the feeling of seeing PRO140 on the market making a big impact on those burdened with HIV will trump even a 5000% return. At least that's how I feel. I own a few early stage immunoncology companies and look forward to their treatment changing the way cancer patients are treated. They may not ever find a cure for cancer but to be able to make cancer a manageable disease and add a full lifetime to those patients will be absolutely amazing.
Agreed! That is one of the wonderful things about these stocks. We hope they succeed not only for our own financial benefit, but for the benefit of humanity. It makes you feel good about making money. But if we make a lot of money, we also have a moral responsibility to return some to God and to society where there are needs. We are never blessed simply for our own good alone, but are always blessed to be a blessing to others.
If a BO is to occur, it will be much sooner than 5 years. Pro 140 has the potential to successfully complete a phase 3 trial by mid to end of 2017 (possibly two trials if monotherapy enrollment can speed up). Also remember that Pro 140 has been given Fast Track Designation by the FDA. So, if Pro 140 is successful in a phase 3 next year and the results are promising, a BO could be in the next 1-2 years, 3 at max.
