#266823 RE: Protector #266799

With Bavi immunotherapy combinations projected to double/triple ResponseRates (as per Dr. Brekken) presently seen in anti-PD-1 MAbs like Opdivo, Peregrine’s plan to run a variety of small phase1 trials by teaming up Bavituximab with AstraZeneca’s anti-PDL-1, Durvalumab, seems an excellent strategy for exploring a number of different cancer indications with an I-O combo, at a relatively low cost to PPHM.

CP, I’m thinking that if Dr. Garnick and company can pull the SUNRISE rabbit out of the hat with an FDA BLA stamp of approval, the DISRUPTION potential becomes an asset for Peregrine/Avid to employ, or not. Peregrine would hold the option. There are various geographical second and third world markets that won’t have access to I-O as soon as the first world will. Also I-O may not be affordable for some regions.

If a BP has been putting a sustained effort into slowing down Bavi plus chemo development over recent years, what do they have to do if Bavi plus Doce gets FDA approval for second line NSCLC???

Bavi plus Doce may produce 14 or 15 months overall survival in NSCLC, and have a better response rate and safety. That would look like a loose canon to BMY

There may be some double leverage here.

SUNRISE yields a BLA?

Bavi boosts downstream immunotherapies...

Not many options left for the BP(s) that could have their small response rate footprints in NSCLC I-O markets disrupted.

Or, don’t have Bavi available for I-O combinations in-house...

Who will own the IP???

Solution???
