It seems today, for me, is, so far a day of reflection. Later we have a family barbecue to go to . Not that far away. But what came into my mind is that I feel many of us on board, not only those of us who are more active posters but also those of the more numerous "silent majority" and including myself, are not really fully aware of the enormous product line of individual possibilities that are opening up for our company. We seem to be more inclined to concentrate on the O/S which has been talked about for months and has not yet gone over 7 Billion shares. I do not want to minimize the O/S but the abundance of future product possibilities and the encouraging income stream being put into play, to Me, seems much more important than Past failed business decisions that created the inflated O/S. We cannot correct the past. It is said and done. HOWEVER, we can take steps to not let it happen EVER AGAIN. IMO, that is exactly what is HAPPENING NOW. Oh yes, there can always be a wrinkle here and there---business is like that, but I feel the plans put in place late last year look like they are beginning to pay off. TWT. As an aside about business plans that do not work out. Not too long ago AAPL built and equipped a very expensive production plant to manufacture a certain type of high quality glass to be produced by a smaller company who I guess had the expertise. They spent, I think the figure was about $580,000,000, I do not know all the details and I do not have the time to check it out, this is strictly from memory but---the bottom line is that after putting it into production it did not pan out and they scrapped the whole deal. Does anyone else on board remember hearing about this event? I think it went over like "Ho Hum" on to the next project. It was a Bad Business Decision. Nobody accused the CEO of being a "scammer" or some other type of derogatory comment. At least I did not see or hear about it. Possibly others might have but I did not. So, the point I am trying to make is not for some us to take every misjudgement by management as a "scam" but reflect on what you put out in print and try to use business language to convey your thoughts. Slang terms and names,IMO, do not help make your point they tend to detract from it. Yes, this is a mature board but we do not have to resort to immature language. A better future for all longs on board. Tlsmd
