No doubt, at least for certain types of crops. You wouldn't use them for most soft berries, for instance. But, things like beans, shelled/dried corn, etc., seem to be well suited for Translock2 application.

agricultural products make up a large percentage of rail and other shipments. ddcc's translock containers can certainly serve in this important transport role. the new info we got in the last ddcc news about the project to ship coffee beans tells us that they are already working with people in the agricultural sector.
