Remember sara, this is a political board, not a stock board. Politics are personal by nature. It's a little hard to separate someone's politics from their personality.
he is exactly the kind of person I would want as president and I think his record as president speaks well of him. You claim you want solutions... I'm telling you the kind of character I want as President and how that differs from the current one.
You picked someone that has been dead for almost 85 years and said, "I want someone like him".
How is that a solution to anything?
Find someone that is alive that you like and get back to me.
I think blustering is appalling as did Teddy. I can dig up an example for you if needed. He is credited with the "big stick" comment, but people forget the "speak softly" part of his method. Speaking softly doesn't mean you are a wimp, btw.
As in most cases with liberals, here is another case of overstating the issue. I don't think Bush has appeared to be a "blusterer" in any of his public appearances.
are those kinds of statements really necessary? Do they add to any understanding of the issues? They are simple low blows... I really expect more of you than that. So many people speak highly of you to me.
The people that think highly of me respect me because I respect them. They don't attempt to force their opinion on me. We can agree to disagree on numerous issues, including politics.
You are not happy with that, however. You surf the WWW and use this board as a depository for anything you can find that supports your liberal agenda and dump it on us numerous times a day.
Have you ever noticed that you almost never get a reply to your cut and pastes?
That is because in most cases they are thread disruptive and don't add anything to the discussion at the time. This happens over and over and it gets boring very quickly.
I'll continue to post as I always have... if you want a discussion fine, if you don't like what I have to say and can't handle it, feel free to put me on ignore.
