I've stated over and over again how Teddy Roosevelt is a great example of what I would like in the White House... someone with brains and brawn and not afraid to use brains first.
You read one book about someone and it makes you an expert?
Out of all of the people in the world you pick someone that's been dead for almost 85 years and say, "I want him".
Reminds me of a drunk I saw in a sports bar a few years ago. The Yankees were playing and they were behind in runs. Some drunk yelled out, "Put Mantle in, he'll bring em home". He evidently forgot Mickey was dead.
As with Teddy, I think blustering arrogance from our admin is appalling.
I don't understand this statement. First you say you want Teddy, then say he is arrogant? Huh?
As for California, sure it has it flaws like any other state
Just more than most.
I'm proud to live here...
And I'm glad you do. Keeps you over 3,000 miles away from me.
just as I'm proud to be an American inspite of being disappointed in the current admin who is burning bridges left and right.
If I were you, I would be ashamed of myself. Constantly bitching and moaning about something that has already happened and very little idea what is really still happening.
We saved France from the Germans in WWII. Did you know they were firing on us when we were landing to drive the Germans out of France. They are a bunch of snivelling cowards and you should be ashamed of yourself for defending them.
As far as Germany, we don't need them either.
You talk about us wanting the Iraqis oil. Why do you think France and Germany didn't want us to oust Hussein? Because he owed them a lot of money and there were a lot of projects on going. It was definately monetary though, so screw the oil. Iraq needed our money worse than we needed their oil. Saddass was too much of an arrogant asshole to comply with the UN resolutions. Talk about arrogant, you should be pointing a finger at him.
Are you reading the current news? The truth is coming out about the real reasons for this war and what a mess it has become.
Like I told ergo, you liberals read what you want to read and listen to what you want to listen to to further your agenda.
Who said the war was going to be a cakewalk? Bush said when he announced the war on terrorism that it would take years to accomplish our objectives.
Now, please go bitch and moan to someone else and leave me out of it.
And,
Have fun,
Phil
