Sorry to disappoint you Phil but Billy Boy was anything but my hero. Just better than any Bush I have seen. Rush is a sissy. I listened to him one day railing against the Congress for not implementing the President's tax cuts only to hear him be caught almost mid sentence with the revelation that this was what the President wanted. Spineless pussy that he is. I haven't bothered since. Talk about spoon feeding.
New York -- Rush Limbaugh is telling his fans that part of what they've heard about him is true: he's addicted to painkillers.
In a statement on his radio show Friday, the conservative commentator said he's "not making any excuses" and takes full responsibility for his problem.
He says he's no role model and refuses to let people think he's "doing something great here."
Limbaugh says he's twice checked himself into medical facilities to try to break his dependence on prescription drugs. He says his doctor prescribed the pills years ago after his spinal surgery, and he kept taking them for pain in his lower back and neck.
Limbaugh says he's checking himself into a treatment center immediately. He'll be there for the next 30 days in an effort to "break the hold" he says the "highly addictive" medication has on him.
Limbaugh says he's been asked to limit his public comments about the matter until authorities in Florida finish their investigation connected to his drug use. He says guest hosts will continue his radio show while he's away. http://www.kxan.com/Global/story.asp?S=1477785
