#435 RE: will c rose #432

They are at Clovelly South this coming Monday because the results at the previous target depth of 13,500 feet are good indications of what to expect at the target depth of 14,200 feet.

Let me reiterate that they expect to find oil at both 13,500 and 14,200 feet, where the latter holds a much larger reserve. They expect oil because their 3-D seismic data tells them so.

On Monday, if they find oil at 13,500 feet, then they know that their seismic data is good and therefore would expect to also find oil at the target depth of 14,200 feet.

However, if they don't find oil at 13,500 feet on Monday, then they lose confidence in their seismic data and head into next next week with low expectations.

As for exploration vs. production wells, the drilling currently underway in Clovelly South is an exploration well. This means that they are drilling to see whether there is oil or gas or nothing in this prospect. Once they find oil, they will test production which will take more time.

Cheers
