#260742 RE: Jeff4iam4 #260741

Jeff,

This is what the PPHM web site says.

{{This analysis also showed that the bavituximab combination group is performing as expected according to the original trial assumptions in terms of overall survival, while the docetaxel group is dramatically outperforming overall survival expectations based on the original trial assumptions and as compared to recently published studies.}}

Do you see how they are hedging and not being specific?

PPHM isn't saying the Sunrise control group outperformed ALL Docetaxel control groups in HISTORY as some here keep saying.

PPHM isn't saying the Sunrise control group dramatically outperform ALL the control groups from recent STUDIES.

PPHM is saying the Sunrise control group did dramatically outperformed the control groups from recently PUBLISHED studies. How many years ago was that data collected before publication, meaning how long ago was the trial conducted?

The don't say ALL recent studies.

They don't say ALL published studies.

They say RECENTLY published studies with out putting a qualifier on how many or how inclusive. That leaves open the possibility of cherry picking a few recent published studies.

What does dramatically mean? That word leaves things wide open as it is an interpretation. If the MOS was 10 in a few recently published studies and it comes to 11 now, some could call a 10% increase dramatic. If it was such a "dramatic" increase in the control, and the Bavi arm was so great, why not simply release the MOS and the HR now?
