I will take that bet on the assumption that an RS will come before a dime.

Still, I think this is potentially disruptive technology - I have been watching for years - and will continue to watch until I finally go long or it dies.

The latter will not happen due to countless more-or-less shareholder-unfriendly financing methods; the real puzzle is when to go long.. that time may be approaching judging from recent developments.

I would take that bet if I were you for the charity's sake, except that generally speaking someone who cant even adhere to his own "will never post on the ANY board again" promise, certainly would never adhere to paying out $1k... no offense just logically speaking.

Besides, he would be long gone from the Sphere 3D board, with another alias to the next board assigned to...

Doesnt matter, when Sphere 3D in that scenario reaches $10 a share, many longs will be able to give plenty to charity by themselves... ;-)
