Yeah I mean there's only 8 months left in the year which will fly by. So in that time they want to have the final cell complete so they have proof of the final product their processes can bring to the table and they also want a pricing model in hand so they have solid negotiating power at the table. It sounds like with this latest announcement that the hardest part of this whole saga has been completed.
...because I asked Scarpa how sure he was that the cell could be brought from 17 or 18% to the low to mid teens and he said its a sure thing. Like they know exactly how it's done and what they have to do, they just don't have the equipment because it's absurdly expensive to own (but all large manufacturers or mega labs like NREL or Fraunhofer has have the equipment). This is my understanding anyone is free so tweak it if you know more than me.
