I can see how that will be the case quite often SG. Still though, a highly applicable and useful line of resistance and support for all these pairs, just not all the time on any specific ema line. A/U monthly disregarded the 21ema line on it's bullish trek up until July of 2012 for example. It was a useless line of support or resistance prior to that. That's why I must not trust anything for certain and better keep with the 150 to 300 pips to pass before adding to my initial and subsequent entries. If it goes my way off a specific ema then all is good......I look for a good TP spot. If not, I add later and wait it out. And forget scalping off the 5 minute as you stated. Simply a high odds entry area that can fail as any other high odds entry indicator.
