To clarify people aren't smoking the plastic tubes, they smoke the pre roll inside the tube.

I think people care more about a high quality flower pre roll with many strains to choose from at $5 each. Some of best prices in town for all bud no shake prerolls a lot in the 20% thc range. Also CBD strains.

That's probably why the customers have been buying them up.
In my opinion it's about making monies for the company (profits) than fancy packaging that's not compliant, 75-80% profit margin seems pretty decent to me.
