"I was pretty upset about matts comments that he could care less for sound on IHUB via APPLE BOARD! Not a happy camper here!"
Consider these facts:
1. He made it on what board? APPLE? What is an apple? A fruit, right. Need I say more?
2. Who reads the Apple board? ROTFLMAO
All kidding aside. In my opinion IHub is far superior than Raging Bull and Silicon Investor for several reasons. One of those is the ability to use graphics and sound. Not sure you saw this post by jawmoke and or comment by Matt but it speaks volumes, no pun intended.
jawmoke's use of both sound and graphics was excellent.
Consider this can we speak faster than we read? I surmise in the years to come, message boards will consist more of sound bites than written words. You will click on posts and hear the posters voice rather than have to read their words. Of course there will always be a need for the written form of medium but I see the change in the air.
For example I use a program at home called TeamSpeak, using the Internet and one of my servers I have others connect all using microphones and headsets, and we can all chat (talk) no need to type a darn thing. 5 people can hold a conversation from all over the world. Of course it is primarily used to play computer games like CounterStrike or PlanetSide, but the whole team can talk amongst themselves regardless of their location in the world.
So fear not sound is here to stay, it is the future, Matt knows it, but you will always have people like Churak living in the stone age, with his 95 box, no speakers and peanut shells in his keyboard. LOL
