It was Steve King that initiated Avid and ran with it... so make him CEO. Without Avid there would have been dozens of other ways to slow down and sabotage Peregrine over the years. Still tough for a small biotech to break into Big Pharma, even with the patent that will drive IO combo's thru FDA approvals...
Now we just hope they get the best deal with AstraZeneca.
No way could SK even say two peeps on how close they are with AZ.... maybe its timed perfectly around 1st week in May when the lawsuit is settled and employee stock option pricing is reset May 1st I believe
Peregrine can legally pick up those cheap options again vs buying shares on the open market just before a big deal goes down
