If you equate "corrupt" with "biased", then I'm with you. Corrupt is a little stronger word.

All newspapers/media are biased one way or another (yes even PBS). The NY Post/Fox News are biased to the right; the NY Times and their ilk are obviously biased to the left. Just keep that in mind when you read the op/ed pages especially. But, even their news stories are biased -- I have no problem with that because I realize the bias is out there everywhere.

We will have to agree to disagree

We can agree ALL media - FOX - Murdoch - NYT - MSNBC - have their bias - lies - and corruption

That leaves each of us to chose which ones WARTS we can accept

I can accept USA AP NYT REUTERS and CSM - especially when they support each other

To view all news as wrong and corrupt simply is an over reach IMO

But we all need to be vigilant

But we all need to know no source is fully non biased

And we all need to not go down the black hole of everything is a conspiracy and a trick

Not saying you are in any category but that is sort of how I sort it out

Two Words: Operation Mockingbird

A Bought Media was institutionalized in the late 1940's:

Gulf of Tonkin, Weapons of Mass Destruction, the lies go on and on...

--While the CIA claims they no longer pay journalists, I tend to believe they just might be lying to us again...

"The Agency's [CIA] relationship with [The New York] Times was by far its most valuable among newspapers, according to CIA officials. [It was] general Times policy ... to provide assistance to the CIA whenever possible."

--The CIA and the Media, by Carl Bernstein

In America, the "Free Press" isn't "Free", it is "For Sale". That goes for the Story of the GSEs too.
