So if Birge is a key player in immunotherapy than PS and PPHM IP could be in high demand. The key question is how do they play their cards.

I have been a BOD basher for years (see my posts). I will bash one more time because I think it is imperative to make critical changes in the direction in order to salvage value. I was beginning to make inroads w Thorpe in getting UT involved with hopefully adding a qualified person to the BOD. This was just before he passed. My last email from him was a thank you and he would consider my recommendations.

IMO the BOD protected themselves via the poison pill and not the company. The current BOD is comprised of attorneys and no biotech experience. The development of bavi has always been hampered by lack of resources when the potential of bavi required 10 (more like 100) times the resources to determine its commercial potential. Remember DoD, Duke, Hep C and others? Bavi was so close.

Remember the pathway mgmt took... IST's etc... always relying on low budget no accountability research pathways.... wrong way...

And they picked one horse in a race to nowhere.. (the tech landscape changed but they didn't... again lack of industry experience at the BOD level)

What we know is the immuno party is in the second or third inning and we already see the impact of first mover advantage... first mover gets the cash and the girls...

We know BP is scrambling for technology that shows promise... look at all the preclinical deals and VC funding going into immunotherapy.

So mgmt can salvage this nightmare by forgetting their own greed and play win, place or show versus thinking they can pick the right number for powerball.

The demand for the IP is right now... will it be in 6 months, 12 months? maybe but severe dilution will kill any possible upside....

Time is of the essence and mgmt needs to hear from the masses that the direction needs to change now, not after they get some IST results on a 20 person trial twelve months from now.
