Just saw this myself (no e-mail yet).

Well, it's something that's for sure. It's nice to see official confirmation that we will be doing business in VN. Hopefully this is the start of more news to come, as obviously the details are a little light.

Regardless, nice to see something. Leap day miracle.

Edit: The question now becomes, do we have to wait 'several months' before we hear about any of those agreements?

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me...Unless this is just a way to get above average silk for mundane uses? It would be very inconsistent with respect to SS yield, as the VN worms aren't genomically uniform like the platform worm.

This equates to another 3 to 5 years of waiting as Kraig pilot produces and experiments with their silk... More doubling and doubling of double to come as they work to develop a viable product.

well that's certainly vague..in the mou he specifically mentioned negotiating with provincial, regional and central governments...when he was just checking things out, he was boasting about meeting the prime minister and posted photos etc..

now that he has signed a deal, suddenly its with a "governmental entity"...not "government" but "governmental"..remember, kim is a lawyer and he knows how to make people think he said something he did not actually say..
