My first thought CP is to think we are all reaching for straws. But my gut says why would management stop the trial now if they didn't need to do so. Most of the money is spent as far as Sunrise is concerned and certainly it would behove them to get much more positive data and PR from their major collaborations with MSK, AZ, and NCCN before stopping trial (say end of 2016 if they get same recommendation after 2nd lookin.
So why stop it now? There must be an advantage because it would have made more sense to string it out and have a lot more positives in the I/O area and just spinning the Sunrise result as no longer important.
Here is another thought to what is to gain by waiting for the end of year unblinded data. They will be announcing the Betabosies patent soon and what if they announce the results of the Sunrise in early 2017, what BP has an interest in Bavi + chemo when they are aware that the next generation betabodies exist?
