and if severaal of you actually did tackle a do-able size task like getting something done at your local school, then other schools would see, more importantly, other parents would see, and be encourage to go and do likewise.
See if you can pick up the pebble of changing one school.
It may build muscle for moving the mountains of which you speaak here.

in your town and go to work locally.
Without local work, don't expect to see the top of the pyramid of power moved.
