#63060 RE: Condor65 #63059

Would he have left if successful?

Do you seriously think that if Hughes and Biotech were successful selling DrillWall during his tenure, he would have left the company?

The presentation indicates that he was the president and CEO in 2009:

His Linkedin page says that he was the VP of Technology at Biotech from 2008 - Nov, 2011:

Notice in his Linkedin page, it still shows him as employed by Macy's Systems and Technology -- the IT arm of Macy's stores -- as an IT project and program manager. Also notice that everything on his LinkedIn page is focused on the IT part of his career from 1999 to the present. This is something you do when you want to promote yourself in a certain job area on LinkedIn.

IOW, he sees himself as an IT guy, and says nothing about sales.

I also noticed that while he's mentioned in a couple of blog posts on the Hemp corporate site, there is no reference to him on the Industrial Hemp Manufacturing site:

My guess is that his main job is still at Macy's, and that Perlowin is paying him to be a figurehead and make some sales calls.

As to Schmitt, he was the VP and Chief Operating Officer of Biotech, not just a technician.

Either he couldn't produce the all the product that Hughes could sell, or Hughes was a lousy salesman.

Either way, they failed, and now Perlowin has hired them to try and not repeat their failure.
