That oil tax will never pass. It is DOA in Congress. Although some have said oil prices won't affect ERHC at all, by ERHC's own admission it already has greatly affected them and will continue to do so. Every oil company in the world is affected and ERHC is no exception.
I just hope the Kenya well is not delayed. The longer it goes without confirmation of the spud date, the more worried I become. Silence has never been good news at ERHC. I have no confidence that ERHC would even tell us if they already knew. Like everything else, they would hide it as long as they could. Ntephe needs to speak out and remove the doubt but he probably won't.
