The original water permit was issued May 12, 2012 -- it was modified July 31, 2013 -- by the Bureau of Mining Regulation and Reclamation (part of Nevada's Division of Environmental Protection) and signed by "Bruce" also on July 31, 2013.

In 2014 an inspection stated that "no further action" needed. In 2015 there were two minor corrective action required -- a rip in the Big Pond liner and some backfill material needed to be transported to the site.
