The way the bracelets work is that the bracelet completes a circuit when closed, and the circuit is monitored for continuity. Obviously it's put on tight enough so that you can't slip out of it. I can't quite figure out the cyber-belt thing, but that's the basic concept.

Proabably use the same reason they use for ankle bracelets now...if you take it off your in violation of your parole and you get to go to prison for the full term....be cool though if HISC made one that zoned off out of bound areas....and had an alarm that went off if it was tampered with....and a push to talk to tell the indiviual that they are in a out of bounds area ...etc and so forth.

Do they make a type of steel now that is impossiable to cut or saw. To where it can only be open by key. That would solve the problem.
