I don't believe it is a matter of a lack of updated quotes from Cook but that the spokeswoman used the 2013 quote because it is relevant to current events. Back then the pps dropped from 100 to 60 over fears of a decline in demand and lack of innovation.
Those who sold were wrong then and they are wrong today.
