You're quoting a man who misquotes Scripture. It's not that we can interpret one way or another- this man cites Scrupture that he says supports his position when it does not. It's not a matter of interpretation.
When you say that Scripture says that suffering is a product of people's sins, and then you cite Scripture references that have nothing to do with your point...
