I am ashamed to admit that I am turning into a female in my old age... I asked the next door neighbor for help taking down the old curtain rod... weird screws and far too many of them... previous owner was extremely hardware happy... God bless him... he volunteered to put the new ones up for me. My wrists were so sore from the wood stacking, I said yes thank you without hesitation.
What a nice guy... it would have taken me twice as long as the brackets all had to be screwed into wood. My wrists are starting to ache again at the thought. The blinds are exquisite... darkened the room perfectly and are very restful...
