I agree, storage isn't dead. But what are the margins among storage peers and at Overland? I don't believe they're much compared to the margins I would expect from GW sales. I'm rather sure that storage companies do not trade that much of a multiple.
The only thing that I'm concerned about right now is further evidence to the degree or significance of the GW and Azure deal. Again, I didn't buy for the sum of the parts which became a talking point later.
How? Sphere doesn't "control" or "own" the data. They sell low margin commodity storage boxes. Their customers own the data. Does ANY have any data mining or analytics software products? Name one.
