It's horse racing term meaning they did not come in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. They could have finished fourth - 8th, but the recorder only picked up the first three and last two award winners in their category. There were 54 entrants. The Cup people have yet to post the full list of award winners. So maybe we will find out tomorrow, but I can say it wasn't 1st, 2nd or 3rd. :0(
