That's why I said it was broker dependent. For example, right now TDA will NOT allow any purchases, but they DO allow sales, so anyone choosing to sell that has their shares in TDA will not be able to buy back. Keep in mind that not all of the account holders are aware that they cannot buy back simply because they haven't tried to buy recently. IF they decide to sell, they won't find out they can't buy back until they try to place the buy order...
Anyway, the main thing that I expect is just a few traders trying to play the event and make a couple of dollars off of it. In the end, I see the RS as a non-event other than it will be part of the progression to the future, whatever that may be.
I do expect a run-up into drilling (which happens to be getting closer every day).
