The GOP encouraged support for this monster (Trump) when they thought it was a good idea to put know-nothing Sarah Palin on their 2008 ticket for VP...It's ironic - read: pathetic - that John McCain, the 2008 GOP candidate for Pres, is now whining about how harmful the Repub's latest know-nothing, Donald Trump, would be to down-ticket candidates.
