ET,
I too contacted QCOM's IR (I called, did not want to wait for an e-mail response). The individual I spoke with said it is not being offered to the public domain and that the chip will remain in house for ongoing testing. They would not comment on why it was not being offered or when they plan to offer it. A chip does exist so I do not feel compelled to apologize for that.
I will apologize for saying that you are spreading false information, although in my opinion that is up for interpretation being as it is very easy to misunderstand ones comments and intentions when looking at a screen of just words, hence, I felt compelled to clarify things. I mean no disrespect and I cannot help but try and open doors for others to look through. You may take this as me being in denial or not wanting to admit when I am wrong, that is hardly the case. I just feel that the company's potential is enormous, yet so misunderstood by so many that a lot of people probably did not understand (or care) what it was we were debating.
Hopefully our debate (or disagreement) gave some insight to others about the wireless world and if nothing else provided some entertainment. I am not asking for an apology nor am I going to admit to being wrong for something I am not guilty of. We could go on and on ad infinitum about this subject because it is rather obvious we do not see eye to eye on the subject. So as I had stated before, I would be happy to agree on disagreeing and move on.
