Hillary is our next prez unless, potentially, a surprise dark horse emerges. Sanders is also cool but I think the mainstream public still thinks he is fringey despite having ideas which align with most regular folk ("real Americans", according to Palin).
Texas will turn blue or at the very least purpleish by 2020, and after that, wave goodbye to an R president unless their platform significantly moves towards the center, from the current position of "moronic derp".
