Just got done talking to corperate action from e-trade. My account is messed up because I sold my HTIC shares right before they put a block on it. My account now shows that I shorted the stock. They took out a certain amount of money from my balance to cover the short position. They said once htic settles up with them I will get my money back. He made a special note to my account that I did not short this stock. Said it could take anywhere from 2 days or up to 2 weeks because penny stocks are that way. Waiting game for me now.
